Tutorial Videos

This is a collection of video tutorials; each designed to cover a particular skill used in Real World Math lessons.  These Xtranormal and YouTube videos play in Google Earth placemark windows so that instruct-ional references to the application can be seen simultaneously.

Masters in Teaching (link) - Resource guide to those interested in pursuing a Masters degree in Education. This site offers links to colleges in each state with graduate programs for teachers, links to grants and funding, and plenty of good information.

Google Earth Linguistic Layers (link) “Global linguistic visualizations for Google Earth” from the Rosetta Project.  Offers 4 different layers that highlight languages from around the world in audio links. 




Science


USGS Earthquake Google Earth Layer (link) add this layer to your Google Earth places and get real-time earthquake information from around the globe.  This layer will update every 5 minutes and includes plate boundaries.


National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) Natural Hazards layer (link) for Google Earth displays historic volcanic, tsunami, and earthquake data from around the world


National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) offers a variety of layers (link) for Google Earth that demon-strate polar, glacial, and permafrost data.
